My name is Scott Hargroves. I create things out of pixels, mainly for the web, but sometimes just for kicks. Like when I built a Multitouch table in my spare time. I do other stuff too, like making short films, taking photos and sometimes sending the odd tweet.
So as I lay here in bed writing this on my phone (using the new WP app) I can’t help but grow with excitment at this next week. Much like I did when I first moved here I am starting to feel the buzz you get when you have a new toy to play with.
This time next week we will be one day off moving to our new apartment. I use the word new as that is just what it is. Everything, including the dishwasher (yes there is a dishwasher) and carpet will have never been touched. I feel lucky as I have never been one to really like having seconds.
While moving I will be “unplugged” as Ren puts it and I’m kind of looking forward to that. So yeah, saying good bye to our 3 floor end terrace, saying hello to our 1 floor apartment. Crazy.
So on Wednesday night just before bed Heather decided to slice almost the whole of the Thumb tip off. Luckily it didn’t go all the way through or else she would of had odd thumbs for the rest of her life.
We went to hospital to and waited for two hours (as did everyone else) before giving up on the National Health Service all together. I took her home and fixed it up good and proper with the donated bandages my Mum gave us.
She is all better nearly.
We have just got back from our little trip to Berlin. Here are a few snaps from various days out. There are a couple on my phone which I will put up later when I write about the trip on a whole. Enjoy these in the mean time.
Was in Morrisons the other day and spotted this. Wish I had a garden now.
Back from Glastonbury now all sun kissed and tired. Thought I would post this video which was the highlight of the weekend really. After watching this follow the link below and watch his set, even if you don’t like Hip Hop or even if you just don’t like Jay Z. This was amazing.
