So on Wednesday night just before bed Heather decided to slice almost the whole of the Thumb tip off. Luckily it didn’t go all the way through or else she would of had odd thumbs for the rest of her life.
We went to hospital to and waited for two hours (as did everyone else) before giving up on the National Health Service all together. I took her home and fixed it up good and proper with the donated bandages my Mum gave us.
She is all better nearly.

ICK ICK ICK ew ew ew ew! I cut a chunk into the index finger of my left hand and it hurt soooooooooooo much. Luckily clever bandaging healed it in a few weeks
Look how the picture makes it seem like I have no thumb and a very very long index finger….
the blood looks weird. There are cloud shapes in it.
I wish I had odd thumbs, though I don’t think you could have gotten me up off the floor if I had chopped it all the way off….

Haha, yeah but if it did come all the way off at least we could use some of the excess your index finger seems to have.
They do finger bandages these days which are a novel concept.
